The Happy Network ushers
in the new year with only the happiest vibes and the most delightful
programming that brings back the good times on TV.
Starting with a grand
free-for-all spectacular countdown to be held at the Quezon Memorial Circle on
New Year’s Eve, TV5 claims 2015 as the year to spread more joy, inspiration and
happiness with a fresh lineup of new exciting shows that gives the most
enjoyable and amusing TV viewing experience.
TV5’s new programs for
2015 include the “Hi-5 Philippines”, the local edition of the world-famous and
iconic children’s shows; “Happy Wife, Happy Life”, a lifestyle reality show
featuring the wives and partners of PBA superstars; “E5”, a sassy showbiz,
fashion and lifestyle program; and “Extreme Challenge: Kaya Mo Ba ‘To”, a show
filled with death-defying stunts as hosted by Derek Ramsay with the racers of
The Amazing Race Philippines Season 2.
As happiness is very
much related to laughter and cheer, TV5 introduces its fresh and exciting new
comedy shows “Mac and Chiz”, featuring the surprising heartthrob tandem of
Derek Ramsay and Empoy Marquez; “Two and ½ Daddies”, which stars the siblings
Robin Padilla, Rommel Padilla and BB Gandanghari for the first time on
television; and “No Harm No Foul”, a soon-to-be weekend laugh-fest featuring
comedy giant Ogie Alcasid with the giants of the PBA hardcourt.
TV5 will also launch the
thrilling reality shows of “Rising Stars”, the singing search where every
contestant’s video selfie is a passport to stardom; “Last School Standing”, a
game show that supports top highschools in the country; and “Move It: Clash of
the Street Dancers”, where the best hiphop groups in country clash in a series
of breathtaking dance-offs.
Making viewers happy by
helping them with their health, love and life problems are “What’s the
Problem”, where Gelli De Belen, Arnel Ignacio and Atty. Mel Sta. Maria provide
legal as well as practical advice based on life experiences; “Call Me Papa
Jack”, where radio host and love guru Papa Jack gives his signature point-blank
love advice; and “Healing Galing”, where alternative medicine advocate
Dr. Edinell Calvario and anti-aging specialist Dr. Hayden Kho reach out to
those seeking medical advice.
These are just a few of
